Mount USB memory stick on FreeBSD

How to mount a USB memory stick (thumb drive) on FreeBSD6
There is probably a way to automate this with usbd, but here's the manual way:

sudo mount -t msdosfs /dev/da4s1 /mnt
There seems to be a bug as upon insertion of the usb stick, there was no /dev/da4s1, it only created a new /dev/da4.  Once I tried (and failed) to mount /dev/da4, it created /devda4s1, whic hI was able to mount.

Don't forget to umount it before yanking it.

I've created an /etc/fstab entry to make this a bit easier but with the glitch mentioned above, it may not be that helpful.
